TCA

The TCA Peel is made with trichloroacetic acid to create a controlled shedding of several layers of skin. TCA peels can remove sun-damaged skin and pre-cancerous cells, and also stimulate collagen production so the skin appears smoother and more youthful. This peel also tightens the skin, reduces wrinkles and gets rid of superficial scars. Downtime is about 5 to 7 days, and you will see gradual improvements for up to 6 months after the treatment.

VitaliaDerma

The VitaliaDerma Peel is a superficial peel that has been deemed safe for all complexions and skin types. The peel is designed for creating an even skin tone, reducing blemishes and improving superficial scars.

The VitaliaDerma Peel incorporates Retinoic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acids with Citric Acid and other active ingredients to provide a strong, but gentle formulation. The VitaliaDerma Peel has been proven to fade pigmentation problems and stimulate collagen production.

The VitaliaDerma Peel is one of the safest, strongest half-hour chemical peels available. A mild to moderate flaking occurs 2 to 3 days after the peel is performed, but this can be controlled with moisturizers. Many patients receive this procedure during their lunch hour because there is little to now downtime involved!

Leg Vein Treatments

Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is the most effective treatment for spider veins on the legs. This procedure involves injecting a saline solution into the small surface veins so that they slowly disappear. Sclerotherapy can be performed on tanned skin and darker skin types.

YAG Laser Treatments

YAG laser treatments are used to treat deeper, stubborn leg veins. This ‘no-needle’ vein removal treatment involves administering a pulsating laser to the skin to break down the veins from the outside. A mild stinging is felt with each pulse of the laser, but this is also a very effective vein removal treatment.

Laser Hair Removal

Central Florida Dermatology Associates uses a gentle YAG laser for effective laser hair reduction. The treatment can be performed on all skin types, and a series of laser hair removal treatments can help reduce or eliminate the need for shaving, waxing and plucking.

Thermage Skin Tightening

Thermage is a safe, non-invasive procedure that helps smooth, tighten and contour skin for a naturally younger looking appearance without surgery or injections and little to no downtime.
Thermage, or ThermaCool, is a radiofrequency treatment that treats the deeper layers of the skin. This stimulates existing collagen deep down, through all three skin layers: epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous (fat) layer and promotes new collagen growth over time. The magnitude of visible improvement varies from subtle to dramatic. Generally, some improvement is immediately visible and continues up to six months a new collagen forms in the skin.

Earlobe Repair

If you can’t wear your favorite earrings because of a damaged ear lobe, we can sow the earlobes back together with a simple treatment. Central Florida Dermatology Associates uses a small amount of local anesthesia to repair the earlobe with minimal discomfort; you can have a new opening created for earrings after just one month after the treatment!
