The V-Beam Laser is designed to treat several skin conditions including:
The laser works by targeting the red color in the hemoglobin, which absorbs the laser energy. The blood vessels are coagulated and then reabsorbed by the body. Results vary depending on the treatment required, but this can be a very effective treatment for mild to severe skin conditions. Dr. Judge and the team at Central Florida Dermatology Associates are dedicated to providing you with the highest level of care, and ensuring that you have a comfortable experience.
Dr. Judge is proud to offer her signature 3D Boost package. These three specific treatments, when performed together, help to tighten, brighten and tone the skin by penetrating deeper and deeper through the skin’s various layers. This signature package is a combination of microdermabrasion, a powerful chemical peel, and a YAG tissue tightening treatment.
The 3D Boost package starts with a Microdermabrasion treatment. This is a natural, non-invasive way to exfoliate the outer layer of the skin to reveal fresh skin cells and enhance the skin’s natural ability to regenerate.
The next step is our VitaliaDerma Chemical Peel. This peel incorporates Retinoic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Citric Acid and other active ingredients to provide the right formulation which will penetrate into the deeper skin layers. This peel helps pigmentation problems fade and stimulates collagen production.
The final part of the 3D Boost is a YAG tissue tightening treatment. This laser delivers a beam of high intense light which penetrates through to the deepest layer of the skin, releasing a controlled amount of targeted therapeutic energy to tighten the renewed tissue.
You are then invited back to our office for three Microcurrent treatments. During this series, the aesthetician will manipulates your facial muscles while applying a low level of electrical current. This is what is sometimes referred to as muscle re-education, and is responsible for the contouring and lifting portion of the treatment.
Together, these treatments will help you achieve smoother, clearer skin and a more youthful appearance. What a boost!
M22 Pulsed Light (IPL) uses light energy to treat the redness, brown spots or discoloration and enlarged blood vessels that develop under the skin’s surface.

Dr. Judge recommends a series of IPL treatments can improve the overall skin color. This treatment involves very little downtime, and may be combined with facials and other spa treatments for enhanced results.
Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including age spots, broken capillaries, sun damage, mottled pigmentation, redness from rosacea, skin texture changes, fine wrinkles, enlarged oil glands, acne and actinic keratosis (pre-cancerous lesions).
Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) was initially developed to treat pre-cancerous skin lesions. Over time and after several years of experience, it has been found to significantly improve the pigment and textural changes that are found in sun damaged skin.

PDT is performed by applying Amino Levulanic Acid (ALA), a light reactive substance that is produced in small amounts naturally by the skin. When applied topically in a solution, it is absorbed selectively by abnormal pre-cancerous and cancerous cells in the skin, as well as by certain other normal skin structures, such as oil glands and hair follicles. medical light source can be used, ( LED therapy, VBeam or Intense Pulse Light), to activate the ALA.
The result is photochemical reaction that generates a toxic oxygen product that damages only the ALA containing cells without harming the adjacent tissue. The skin’s natural repair process clears and replaces any damage cells, leading to more vital healthier skin.
LED (Light Emitting Diode) treatment uses red, blue and infrared laser energy to repair damaged skin cells and leave the skin looking softer, firmer and healthier than before. The laser energy stimulates skin cells and allows your skin's natural growth and renewal process to improve the appearance.
The LED procedure can improve the color, moisture, circulation, texture and oxygenation of the skin. An LED treatment takes about 30 minutes through a painless procedure in the doctor's office. Repeat sessions are recommended on a monthly basis, although results are visible after the first procedure.
Many people have second thoughts about their tattoos. Fortunately, you don’t have to live with your decision forever. Highly precise lasers can lighten or remove your tattoo by focusing or pulsing light on the ink particles, which then convert the energy to heat and break up into tiny pieces that are absorbed harmlessly by the body. All this can be accomplished without damaging the surrounding tissue. Results can generally be seen within a few weeks, although larger and darker tattoos may require more treatments than smaller, lighter ones. Occasionally treated skin will look whiter (paler) than the skin around it, but this is usually temporary and fades in the months following treatment.
